Architect Registration Exam Test Prep

I am working on my architects license and decided it might help others if I post my personal study guides and links to helpful resources.

I will be posting them in the 6 categories of the ARE 5.0. As of writing this, I have passed 4 of the 6 sections and I have my 5th scheduled.

My testing order has been / will be as follows:

  1. Practice Management

  2. Project Management

  3. Construction and Evaluation

  4. Programing and Analysis

  5. Project Planning and Design

  6. Project Development and Documentation

And I am in California, so I will be taking the California Supplemental Exam after I pass the ARE 5.0.

I did this order because of overlap of divisions.

While I will be posting more info on the individual sections, for the first 3 tests (PcM, PjM, C&E) the best resource for me was the Michael Hanahan Lectures. They can be found on his legal firms website which I will link below
