Architect Registration Exam Test Prep

I am working on my architects license and decided it might help others if I post my personal study guides and links to helpful resources.

I will be posting them in the 6 categories of the ARE 5.0. As of writing this, I have passed 4 of the 6 sections and I have my 5th scheduled.

My testing order has been / will be as follows:

  1. Practice Management

  2. Project Management

  3. Construction and Evaluation

  4. Programing and Analysis

  5. Project Planning and Design

  6. Project Development and Documentation

And I am in California, so I will be taking the California Supplemental Exam after I pass the ARE 5.0.

I did this order because of overlap of divisions.

While I will be posting more info on the individual sections, for the first 3 tests (PcM, PjM, C&E) the best resource for me was the Michael Hanahan Lectures. They can be found on his legal firms website which I will link below

Please note, these guides are the things I am using or have used to study. They are not all updated or detailed. I would be happy to add info to them if requested, but at the moment my focus is more on using them myself, and making them available to others is just an extra.

I do plan on adding at least a little bit of info in the future, but that is not currently the focus unless specifically asked to.
